Terms of Business
These terms explain what you can expect from GOTR, and what we expect from you, when you use the app or website.
GOTR (Get On The Road) is a brand operated by Copper Flame Ltd, company number 10500975, registered at 152 Mosslands Drive, Wallasey, Wirral, CH44 2EF ("GOTR", "we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, accessing, or using the GOTR app or website, you agree to be bound by these terms of business. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app or website.
GOTR is a booking and lesson-management platform for driving instructors and their learners. GOTR also operates a directory that helps learners search for and get in touch with driving instructors who use the platform.
GOTR is not a driving school and does not itself provide driving tuition. Lessons are arranged and delivered directly between the instructor and the learner, and the instructor is solely responsible for the tuition provided.
To use certain features you must create an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
You must be old enough to lawfully use the app in your country and, where applicable, hold any licence or qualification required for your use of the service (for example, a valid provisional or full driving licence, or ADI/PDI registration for instructors).
Instructors are responsible for holding the appropriate qualifications, insurance, and DBS or equivalent checks required to teach driving lessons in their jurisdiction, and for keeping this information up to date.
GOTR does not verify or guarantee the qualifications, conduct, or availability of any instructor listed on the platform. Learners should carry out their own checks before booking lessons with an instructor.
The instructor search feature helps you find instructors who may cover your area. Results are provided for convenience and do not guarantee that an instructor has availability, covers your exact postcode, or will accept a booking.
Any lesson, booking, or payment arrangement made after finding an instructor through GOTR is a matter between you and that instructor. GOTR is not a party to that arrangement and is not responsible for the lessons delivered.
Certain instructor plans are offered free of charge (including a free trial period), while other plans require a recurring subscription fee, as shown on our pricing page from time to time.
Paid subscriptions are billed through the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and are subject to that store's payment terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date through your app store account settings.
You agree not to misuse the app or website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account or system, uploading unlawful or misleading content, impersonating another person or business, or using the service for any purpose other than lesson management and driving instruction.
The GOTR app, website, branding, and underlying software are owned by or licensed to Copper Flame Ltd and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GOTR is not liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of any driving lesson, for the conduct of any instructor or learner, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or website.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app or website if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, misused the service, or put other users at risk. You may stop using the app or website, or delete your account, at any time.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our service or legal obligations. Continued use of the app or website after an update means you accept the revised terms. The latest version will always appear on this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
